INNOVATIONS

In the December, 1998, issue of READER'S DIGEST Gerald I. Nierenberg was quoted: "If I give you my idea and you give me your idea, then we each have two ideas, and together we have four". We of the Oglethorpe Chapter would like to share with you:

Bi-monthly newsletter to all members…Safety Deposit Box large enough to house all 550-plus application papers of all former members and historical items owned by the chapter…DAR webpage…participation in a local TV talk show to promote Georgia history…presentation of membership certificates in incremental years from 25 through 65. This was the first time since 1972 that members in these categories were honored…added a committee this year to find special ways to increase financial resource for additional chapter outreach.
